Cello

Autumn has worked as a cello teacher for over 20 years and previously held positions at RNCM Young Strings and University of Utah Preparatory. Recently, she has focused on teaching at music for social change programs including the DC Youth Orchestra, BSO OrchKids, and Salty Cricket. She currently works as Student Support Coordinator with the Tuned-In program at Peabody Preparatory. Autumn holds degrees in cello performance from Rice University and the Royal Northern College of Music.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Autumn believes in music as a tool for growth, empowerment, and community development, and she includes culturally responsive teaching practices and social-emotional learning into her teaching curriculum.
