Meet Our Music Teachers

Your teachers at Cockeysville Music Education Center are dedicated to providing welcoming and fulfilling guitar lessons and piano lessons to students of all ages.  We offer piano lessons to students starting at age 4, and guitar lessons for students starting at age 5.  Music theory and vocal coaching are also available!

Cecelia Prinkey, pianist, is one of the original founders of Cockeysville Music Education Center.  She studied at Towson University and the Peabody Conservatory, and has extensive pedagogical training from institutes around the country, including earning her certification as a Suzuki piano teacher.

Kris Faatz., pianist,  received Bachelors degrees in music and engineering frm Swarthmore College and a Master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the Peabody Conservatory.  She has been teaching since 2002.

Alec Davis, pianist & vocal coach.  Alec is an active musician in collegiate, professional and community settings as an instrumentalist, piano teacher and vocalist.  Alec received his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Catholic University of America, in Washington DC.

Andrew Marino, guitarist.  Andrew performs throughout his native New York State, Maryland, and beyond as a soloist and in chamber groups. Recent performances have brought him to community events, colleges, and guitar societies. 

LeeLee Hunter, guitarist.  As a teacher, LeeLee enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities and believes that a foundation in music can benefit all aspects of a student’s life. 

Justine Koontz, composer & pianist.  Justine has taught piano and music composition to many students of all ages and ability levels. She loves helping people find themselves through music.
